Aria half listened to what the teacher was saying, not really paying any close attention at all. She kept occasionally looking toward Sam from the corner of her eye, though tried to stop him from noticing by letting her hair fall so it acted like a wall. She couldn't stop thinking about their conversation, she actually liked Sam. Though, he probably didn't like her. I mean, who would like her? According to everyone else in the school she was a freak? Aria sighed to herself, letting her glance return to the old, bald man that was their biology teacher. He was talking about photosynthesis or something like that anyway.

Sam tried to focus on the lesson, he really did, but he kept thinking about the girl next To him, the girl he just met but he couldn't deny that he liked her. Really liked her. Sam sighed unintentionally, hoping that Aria hadn't heard it. His mind slowly creeped back to the lesson.

She heard the blonde boy next to her sigh & couldn't help her gaze straying back to him through her wall of hair. Maybe she would actually join the Glee Club, I mean if anything it would help her reputation. That wasn't the reason why she wanted to join though, the reason was sitting right next to her. The boy she'd heard sing countless times from the room opposite her locker, the boy she'd only just met & the boy she actually had feelings for. She practically knew in her mind that he wouldn't feel the same, but she couldn't help wanting to spend more time around him.

Sam leaned forward in his seat as if that would help him pay more attention to the lesson than the girl he so desperately wanted to ask out. It didn't matter how long he watched the man pacing around the front of the class, Sam had no idea what was being said. That was, until, he heard his name. "What?" He replied without thinking. "Mr. Evans, are you feeling okay?" the teacher asked, much to Sam's embarrassment. "Only ya look a bit pale." Sam had never really likes his biology teacher and he knew his paleface was probably a result of lack of sleep. "Yeah, I'm fine." Sam slid down in his seat, partially covering his face with his hair.

The brunette held back a laugh when sir caught Sam out of the blue, instead she just smiled. Then, Aria pushed the wall of her behind her ears & looked at him properly, he did seem a bit pale. "Are you sure your okay?" She whispered as sir started talking once more,

Sam felt annoyance, embarrassment and relief wash over him as his Teacher went back to talking about some plant that Sam had never heard of. He was caught by surprise when Aria asked if he was okay, too. To Sam's further surprise, she genuinely seemed to care about the answer. "Yeah, I'm fine." Sam lied. Lying about things like his family and how he was feeling came easy now, he'd had practice.

"Your lying." She whispered back to him, as she smiled & faced the front. Pointing out lies was kind of like a talent to her, she had many secrets of her own & after years of keeping them from getting out, being pushed down the social ladder, ect. you became very observant. Ari could tell a person was lying even if it was only a little one, she had like a built in lie detector & it went off as soon as Sam spoke.

Sam glanced at Aria, astounded. Usually people bought his lies or otherwise pretended so because they couldn't care less. Part of him wanted to ask her out and tell the truth. A bigger part thought that would be a bad idea. A very bad one. He could deal with just seeing her in school... She never needed to find out about the problems Sam had at home. He decided he wasn't kidding anyone and that he'd better say something. "What did you just say?" He asked lamely.

Aria turned to face him, her smile still on her face. "Your lying Sam, I have like a built in lie detector or something. I can tell when people lie to me, but it's okay if you don't wanna tell me. I mean, I have secrets too." She replied, then after it was out she wished she could just rewind time. Why did she have to mention her own secrets? God she was so stupid.

"Really? You have secrets too?" Sam asked but he was careful not to ask what they were. He knew how damn annoying it got when everybody wanted to know your business. Suddenly realisation hit and Sam remembered that if Aria joined glee, she'd find out about sam's problems anyway. "Hey, Aria, would you, maybe, wanna go out... Sometime?" Sam managed, surprised by how awkward and nervous he felt.

Aria was about to sigh from annoyance when he mentioned her secrets, but her breath got caught in her throat when he..well he actually asked her out. What the f*ck was going on? This must be a dream it. It must be. She quickly pinched her leg, ow! This was real, it was actually happening. She then realized how stupid she must look, just sat there gaping. So, she quickly turned her shocked face into a smile. "I'd like that... alot." The brunette smiled even wider.

Sam had to stop himself from going all shit crazy and excited. Instead, he beamed widely, looking down for a few seconds in chagrin. When he finally brought his eyes up to meet Aria's, his smile softened. "Thanks."

"Anytime." She joked, looking back at him. She couldn't actually believe what was happening, one of the hottest boys in school just asked her out. This was still all a dream to her, but dream or not she was going to enjoy it while it lasted.

Sam laughed quietly at Aria's joke. But as much as he thought of it as a joke, it gave Sam hope because it sounded like she actually liked him. Before Sam could think up a dorky impression or phrase in Na'vi, the bell rung signalling the end of biology.

As the bell rang, she kind of wished she had more time. Though, she knew she couldn't just stay in biology all day; even with Sam around she would've ended up dying from boredom. So, she hopped off the stool & grabbed all of her books again.

Sam almost head butted the desk in front of him both from exhaustion and from the fact that he now had to endure the rest of the day which would not live up to his biology lesson. But Sam didn't do that. He got off his stool and collected his things quietly.

"See you later?" Aria asked, hoping the answer would be yes. The rest of school was gonna be torture now, but she'd deal with it. She brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes & tucked it behind her ear, waiting for his response.

Sam was surprised by Aria's question. He knew she had agreed to go out with him but he didn't even believe that 100%. So when the brunette asked him if she could spend more time with him, it took him a few moments to reply. "Sure." Sam eventually smiled. "I'd like that...alot." He quoted.

Aria smiled, laughing when he quoted her. "Cool." She replied, then - wanting to avoid any awkward silences - she shot a smile at him before wandering out of the classroom. Her smile lighting up her whole face.

Jenny was hurrying down the halls, she'd organized to meet her friends outside school at lunch. Though, her teacher had kept her behind, making her very late & her friends did not wait for anyone. At least, she thought they were her friends. To be honest, she was too stupid to realize they were just using her for entertainment. She had no idea, but that's what made it fun for the 'populars'.

Anyway, she carried on almost running down the corridor, her heels were killing her & she was contemplating whether or not to just take them off & run like a mad person down the hall. Though, she decided against it. I mean, who knows what stuff people have put all over these floors & last thing she needed was a chewing gum incident. She sighed, trying to go as fast as she could. The blonde wasn't even paying attention as she flew around another bend in the corridors, not noticing that someone was coming in the other direction until. 'Slam'. She crashed to the floor her books & folders going everywhere.

Rachel was surprised when she walked into someone running down the hall. She hadn't really been paying attention, trying to think up suggestions for a Nationals setlist. The small brunette fell backwards and hit her head briefly on the ground. Not that that stopped her. She shifted so she was on her knees and collected the few sheets of music before getting back to her feet and smoothing out her outfit. She looked up at the cause of the problem, in Rachel's opinion and apologised with a small smile.

Jenny's eyes blurred for a few second, during that few seconds she managed to sit up...just. She looked over to the person who she'd bumped into...okay maybe it was more then a bump, but still. "I..I'm really sorry." The small, dazed, blonde girl apologized. As she sat up even further, beginning to gather all of her books & folders back together. That's when her phone buzzed, she quickly reached into her pocket. Her eyes where now a little more focused, so she didn't have too much trouble reading the tiny writing on the screen of her phone. 'Sorry Little J, too late.' It read. She sighed, great she'd bruised her back, messed up all of her work & now she'd missed her friends. Well, today was going great.
