There is nothing ironic about show choir!
Name: Rachel Barbra Berry
Age: 16
Gender&Sexual Preference: Female/Heterosexual
History: Rachel Berry is one of the co-captains of New Directions, the other being Finn Hudson. Rachel is Jewish, and she is known to be a vegan. She was raised by two gay fathers (she doesn't know which one is her biological father). Her biological mother, Shelby Corcoran, is the former coach of Vocal Adrenaline. Starting the glee club in her Sophomore year, Rachel attends William McKinley High School. Rachel appears to be unpopular with most of the other students because she comes across as being self-involved and very controlling. She is typically very competitive and often shows 'diva' behavior by always wanting to be in the spotlight and be the center of attention due to her dream of becoming a famous Broadway actress. However, on rare occasions, Rachel has displayed her kinder side and shown that she is slowly becoming more considerate and supportive towards the other members of New Directions.
Friends: Rachel considers the New Directions(and Kurt) to be her friends but she has different relationships with all of them.
The guys.
Finn Hudson: Finn and Rachel have history. Tons of it but right now, they're in love and no one is surprised anymore; they learned to deal with it and now they're used to it.
Sam Evans: Rachel doesn't really talk to Sam that much.. he's always with Quinn or the football guys.
Noah Puckerman: This got complicated with Rachel and Puck when they dated. Their relationship was broken up when they both realised they were doing it to make other people jealous. Nevertheless, Puck is quite protective of Rachel and when she's down, he makes it better.
Mike Chang: Rachel doesn't really talk to Mike that much. He doesn't talk much, period. But he puts up with Rachel and all her crazy and has never been mean to her. he's one of the few football guys who has never thrown a slushie at the glee kids.
Artie Abrams: Artie is a cool guy, he always puts up with Rachel when she's at her most annoying--even though being with Finn has calmed her down. She admires him as an artist because even though he can't walk, he still has the dream of dancing.
Kurt Hummel: Kurt. The biggest diva in McKinley. Until he left, anyway, leaving Rachel number one. Rachel was always jealous of Kurt and she knew that he was her biggest threat. So it wasn't until he moved to Dalton that Rachel and Kurt became good friends.
The girls.
Quinn Fabray: Quinn was always Rachel's biggest competition when it came to Finn so their relationship isn't exactly good but things have calmed down and Quinn isn't as nasty to Rachel anymore.
Santana Lopez: Santana is the only glee club member who still picks on Rachel with her snide comments and insults, Santana never accepted Rachel.
Brittany Pierce: Brittany is probably the only Cheerio who has always been nice to Rachel. She's just too sweet not to be.
Mercedes Jones: Mercedes, another threat to Rachel's limelight and now Kurt has gone, Rachel's biggest threat. But they are friends, nonetheless.
Tina Cohen: Tina is very quiet and doesn't talk to Rachel that much but Rachel's sure that Tina is still holding a grudge about Rachel stealing the Tonight solo from her.
Lauren Zizes: Lauren isn't exactly small so she frightens Rachel a little--She's the kind of girl Rachel would only talk to on two grounds. 1) about glee and 2)if she needed help.
Foes: The rest of the school. Rachel isn't very popular. At all. So most of the rest of the school hates her.
Appearence: ong brown hair and brown eyes, accompany a five foot two frame. She often wears preppy clothes which include short skirts and argyle sweaters.
Personality: Rachel is overbearing, loud, and has a penchant for making long-winded explanations as to why her ideas are right using an excessively (albeit impressive) large vocabulary; however, she is extremely giving and when not ruled by her ambition to outdo everyone in the Glee club she tries her best to empathize with her fellow teammates. Rachel is honest to a fault, often lacking tact which tends to annoy those around her; however, she is unaware that she is being rude and simply feels that it is better to speak your mind than be worried about other people’s opinions.
